This is a Chocolate milk stout from the Galway Bay brewery, based in Salthill since 2009. This is a decadent and complex stout brewed with milk sugars and chocolate to give rich flavours and body.

It is a beautifully balanced crisp and refreshing with a distinctive floral and spicey hop character. A perfect introduction to the world of Trappist beers.

With a wonderful fresh apple juice aroma and effervescence that tickles the nose the cider gives an initial burst of sweet apple flavour on the palate followed by citrus and woody notes derived from the bittersweet and Jonagored apples used as the base ciders. Named after an early 1900’s hop store building at St. James’s Gate where hops are still stored, Hop House 13 is a double-hopped lager made with Irish barley and aromatic hops and continues the 256 years of heritage and brewing excellence at St. James’s Gate.

Pilsner style continental lager with hops, yeast and fruity notes on the palate. Beautifully balanced and sublimely refreshing.

Far more flavoursome than its American namesake primarily because this is an All Malt brew while the American version uses a large quantity of rice as an adjunct. Budvar is mellower and less hoppy than the other classic Czech Lagers.

From the Blacks Brewery in Co. Cork, this is an exciting beer with a fusion of Cascade and Citra hops inspiring tropical flavours that are balanced by the malty sweetness.

The “Champagne” of Wheat Beers, this “hefe” is unfiltered, unpasteurised and made without any preservatives in accordance with German “Purity Laws”. A spicey and fruity beer with a crisp yeasty finish.

The simple malt bill gives an ABV of 5.8% which carries the flavour and really allows the hops to shine through. Light fruity sweetness upfront, pineapple, mango and grapefruit. Hints of zesty orange and a piney dry finish. Well balanced.
